Unanimous victory and precedent set across three states in a federal appeals court affirming a six-figure arbitration award

After securing victory in the federal trial court in Houston, Texas, Ashcroft-Smith secured a unanimous victory on a novel issue of law concerning waiver during a civil arbitration. 

This win by Ashcroft-Smith effectively reshaped the law across three states encompassing Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. 

There were no shortcuts to achieving this result.  Ashcroft-Smith sustained months of intensive research and writing in attempt to draft the appellate brief.  Ashcroft-Smith subsequently argued this case in New Orleans before three federal judges and unanimously won confirmation of a six-figure arbitration award.
